Tariff Concession Orders

Tariff Concession Orders are Decisions granted in favour or certain goods that remove the existing Duty liabilities. This is one of the ways the Department of immigration and border security assist local Industry A number of requirements must be meet prior to the consideration of a TCO. Most notably these are

• Must be certain type of good that is in scope
• There is currently no local industry capable of supply a like or substitutable goods to the Australian market.

Atlas assessment & Lodgement Fee $2,500 + GST (paid on successful outcome)

 

Timeline
From the time of a completed submission, including all applicable IDM and our industry research a TCO application should take about 60 days to be made available. The date of operation will be back dated to the submission date allowing a duty refunds of any goods arrived during the processing of the TCO.
